Yeah, (as I respond to goldstar) the lack of an alternative to consumer citizenship totally sucks ass!!! :(

Perry Anderson, in The River of Time, states:

Just wondering myself: Would there be any political, economic and social ramifications to people just PAUSING to think through and question the origin of capital and money??? Hmmmmmmmmm....


Also, paper for ACCUTE is done done done and submitted. So, plans for the summer??? Find a job that will allow me to work 'til the end of June ONLY, give me time off to attend the conference in late May-early June, plus accommodate for my mom's being in town for the May 24 weekend....hmmmmmmmm....July and August are reserved for vacationing, traveling, and finishing up that damn research!!! :)
